Types of Agency

  • Seller Agency

    • A system where all agents and sub agents to a transaction have a duty to represent the sellers best interests.

    • Buyer's interests are treated honestly, fairly, confidentially and with full disclosure of any adverse material facts about the property.

  •   Buyer Agency

    • Agent working with the buyer has a duty to represent the Buyer's best interests.

    • Sellers' interests are treated honestly, fairly, and confidentially

  •   Dual Agency

    • Dual agency occurs when a buyer's agent also represents the company that holds the listing to the property being considered.

    • As a dual agent, the agent will provide information and advice to both buyers and sellers, but will not place the interests of either party ahead of the other.
