Types of Agency
Seller Agency
A system where all agents and sub agents to a transaction
have a duty to represent the sellers best interests.
Buyer's interests are treated honestly, fairly,
confidentially and with full disclosure of any adverse material facts about the property.
Buyer Agency
Agent working with the buyer has a duty to represent the
Buyer's best interests.
Sellers' interests are treated honestly, fairly, and
confidentially
Dual Agency
Dual agency occurs when a buyer's agent also represents the
company that holds the listing to the property being considered.
As a dual agent, the agent will provide information and
advice to both buyers and sellers, but will not place the interests of either party ahead
of the other.
